This Lunazul Primero Anejo tequila is aged for 18 months in American white oak barrels and filtered eight times to achieve a crystal clear color. At 40% alcohol by volume (ABV), it delivers a perfectly balanced, smooth, and complex spirit with rich notes of cooked agave, oak, caramel, apple, citrus, aniseed, cinnamon, and subtle floral hints.
The craftsmanship has been recognized by the 2015 Ultimate Spirits Challenge, earning a Very Good rating with a Strong Recommendation at 87 points.
Color: Crystal clear.
Aroma: Sweet, oak, caramel, apple, and floral notes.
Palate: Full-bodied with cooked agave, oak, aniseed, citrus, caramel, cinnamon, and eucalyptus.
Finish: Long, lingering, balanced, and slightly spicy.
